What defines an artist is not just how one creates, but how one sees, feels, and interprets the world around her.
I was born into a family of artists and musicians. Having lived in this sort of setting for these seventeen years on Earth, I do feel set apart in my ways of thinking and my views of the world from others my age. I try to gain a deeper meaning, see beyond the literal, and find the beauty in things taken for granted both visually and conceptually. A broader view makes for an open channel of thinking, and creation allows me to express what can be rather than what is. Through each work of art, my goal is to capture the life and soul of whatever I am painting. While painting, I fill each piece with an energy that is emitted onto all who view it. It is very important to me for each person to be, at any level, transported by my work and I continue to grow as an artist so that each piece expresses such transporting qualities.
